SOTI has expanded its partner network by more than 50 per cent across Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), as the mobile management provider aligns more closely to the channel.
Delivered during the past 12 months, the increase of indirect business comes amid wider expansion plans across the region.
“The channel market is key for SOTI in A/NZ,” said Michael Dyson, managing director of A/NZ at SOTI. “We do not work in isolation, SOTI needs quality partners to succeed.

According to Dyson - who was appointed to the role in August 2018 - the vendor doubled its new partner base on both sides of the Tasman in 2018, with plans in place to target further growth in the year ahead.
“SOTI is strategically growing its partner network in the A/NZ region,” Dyson added. “We want to ensure we are working with the best possible partners in markets aligned with our local business strategy.”
In 2018, Dyson said SOTI “performed strongly” in core markets of field service, transport and logistics, healthcare and retail - a sector in which the company tripled revenues over twelve months locally.
“The A/NZ retail sector has been an expanding market for SOTI in recent times,” he explained. “Our tripling of business in this area is due to key account wins with some of the biggest names in the retail market.
“As retailers migrate to Android, we expect this growth rate to continue so that businesses can ensure their mobile devices are properly managed.”
As explained by Dyson, SOTI offers retailers an integrated platform capable of managing point of sale terminals (POS), mobile printers, kiosks and digital signage.
“With the ability to provide support for any operating system from Windows CE to Android, IOS to Windows 10, all on a single platform, integration with legacy systems is seamless and assists retailers throughout the entire value chain, from backroom to storefront,” Dyson added.
Alongside channel growth, the vendor also doubled the number of employees in the region during the past 18 months, including the appointment of Dyson as local leader.
