Adam Boreham, former McAfee channel sales manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ), has left the vendor to join Kaspersky Lab.
Boreham takes on the newly created enterprise account manager role with Kaspersky Lab, tasked with growing and expanding the enterprise business.
Specifically, he will focus initially on growing the enterprise portfolio of customers across the northern region of Australia.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Adam to the growing A/NZ team as he brings extensive industry expertise and is already very well regarded across the A/NZ channel community," said Margrith Appleby, A/NZ general manager at Kaspersky Lab.
Boreham worked for McAfee for the past three years, taking up some of the channel-focused duties left open after Luke Power's departure to join Cisco in July 2017.
He has also previously been a channel account manager for Aruba and Avaya.
“I’m humbled to work for an established and trusted entity at the forefront of the technology curve," Boreham said. "With the birth of the Global Transparency Initiative and centre openings, I am excited to be part of market leading technology and well renowned service capabilities."
Kaspersky Lab recently opened a serviced office in Sydney in order to expand presence across the country.
"The company’s A/NZ region aims to continue its focus on building a stronger channel presence to address the enterprise, SMB and mid-market customers and continue its focus on work with diverse talent within the education space with prestigious universities,” Appleby added.
McAfee has been contacted for comment.
