Leader Systems has scored an Australian distribution deal with European internet of things networking specialist Teltonika.
The Lithuania-based firm manufactures industrial long-term evolution (LTE) routers and vehicle tracking products, which are used in the connected vehicle industry.
Teltonika, which does not have an office in Australia currently, has already launched products in more than 150 countries.
“Teltonika is a perfect addition to the solutions portfolio that our resellers offer, and directly complements existing offerings in the voice-over-internet-protocol (VOIP), wireless, routing, and switching segments,” said Chris Sutherland, product manager for Teltonika at Leader Systems.
“We are very happy to announce new partnership with Leader,” Teltonika sales manager Andrius Radziunas.
“We are certain they will add great value to Teltonika in the Australian market. [We] have formed this partnership in order to bring faster, more flexible, and more cost-effective solutions to the IoT industry.”
Sutherland added that he expected the company’s product to make a “large impact” in the Asia Pacific market.
Leader, which works with vendors such as Epson, Cisco and Samsung, recently expanded its distribution network by acquiring Harris Technology’s wholesale and distribution business Anyware Corporation.
In addition to more stockholding warehouses across Australia, the purchase also gave Leader distribution licenses with more than 30 new vendors, including, Linkbasic, Mbeat and DX Racer Chairs.
