Australian specialist distributor Orca Tech has signed an exclusive deal with identity management vendor OneLogin.
The value-added distribution agreement will focus on expanding OneLogin’s presence in Australia with a focus on the commercial and enterprise markets.
The agreement marks the end of OneLogin’s two-year-old partnership with Queensland distributor Cloud Distribution.
"I can confirm that Orca is the only distributor for OneLogin in Australia," a spokesperson for OneLogin told ARN. We no longer have a distribution arrangement with Cloud Distribution, a division of InTechnology"
Specialising in cyber security and analytics, Sydney-based Orca Tech also works with the vendors Check Point, ForcePoint, BigSwitch, BitGlass, ExtraHop, Varmour and Cyber Risk Aware.
“We're thrilled with our partnership with Orca Tech as our business and team in Australia is growing fast and we see the relationship with Orca as being a key part of this next stage of our growth,” the spokesperson added.
The move follows OneLogin’s recent appointment of Steve McLoughlin as director of channels and alliances for Asia Pacific. He joined the company last month after leaving his role as general manager of alliances and channels for Oracle A/NZ after 12 months.
"OneLogin’s global partner program, Accelerate, brings a unique offering to partners at a time when the identity and access management market is exploding,” OneLogin vice president of Asia Pacific and Japan Geoff Thomas said. “Orca Tech is the perfect partner to capitalise on this next stage of growth with us.”
In June, Orca Tech signed a distribution deal with Check Point Software Technologies designed to ensure partners have access to the necessary sales, technical and marketing tools from the vendor.
The distributor also signed with data centre networking vendor Big Switch Networks for the vendor's next-generation network packet broker Big Monitoring Fabric, and data centre switching fabric Big Cloud Fabric.
Cloud Distribution has been contacted for comment.
