Silver Peak adds new Australian partners amid program enhancements

Morfit Group Consulting, Teneo Australia, iQ3, getNext and Infin8IT have all signed up as the latest partners in Australia for SD-WAN vendor, Silver Peak.

“Our new Australian partners bring a diverse range of SD-WAN and enterprise networking expertise to help put Silver Peak customers on the fast track to transforming their businesses for growth,” Silver Peak A/NZ regional director, Graham Shultz, said.

“Australia’s an important strategic market for Silver Peak as we continue to see strong demand from government and corporate customers across all verticals for our industry leading Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform.”

The new partnerships come on the back of a range of investments and enhancements the vendor has made to its global Partner Edge program.

Specifically, the program features a new tier criteria involving Silver, Gold and Platinum, with up-front revenue and training objectives.

Under the new program, partners can align their SD-WAN investments directly with a set of rewards.

There will also be specific incentives on offer for Gold and Platinum partners tied into selling the Unity EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform. 

Incentives will be introduced every six months, and offered for a period of six to 12 months, providing partner level, sales and technical team rewards. This includes a new customer incentive, offering an incremental margin incentive of up to 10 per cent paid to the partner after closing an EdgeConnect SD-WAN opportunity. 

Specifically the incentive will stretch beyond the first order, to include all follow-on business from that customer for 12 months following the initial sale.

On top of this, a new ‘Fast Start’ incentive has been introduced seeing an additional two percent paid against all new EdgeConnect customer sales, which is accretive to the 10 per cent new customer capture incentive - meaning partners can potentially earn up to 12 per cent margin for new customer deployments.

The program also features ‘Deal edge’ that will see inside and field Silver Peak sales team pass on active leads to partners.

Silver Peak is also expanding its enablement tools and resources, providing Platinum partners with direct access to its online platform where they can prototype, test and demonstrate the advanced technical features and capabilities of the EdgeConnect SD-WAN edge platform.

The vendor has also refreshed all of its training materials and courses.
