DXC Technology has made a double acquisition to strengthen its ServiceNow practice globally.
The company acquired UK-based Tesm and Denmark-based BusinessNow, as it grows its ServiceNow practice on the scale, reach, industry experience and skills portfolio to take the lead in the enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) market.
The acquisitions will enable DXC to offer customers an expanded range of cloud-based and as-a-service solutions.
“Tesm and BusinessNow add a unique set of skilled people, IP and aligned offerings which will further enable DXC enterprise clients to leverage the ServiceNow platform as a foundation for enterprise-wide digital transformation,” said Dan Stoks, vice president, global ServiceNow practice at DXC Technology.
“Our cultural match, shared vision and capabilities on the ServiceNow platform will greatly enhance our ability to address rapidly growing customer needs across Europe, the UK and around the world.”
While Tesm is headquartered in London, it is present in Australia, as well as in the US, Ireland, Netherlands and Germany.
Locally, DXC has appointed Marilyn Nelson to the newly created role of head of service transformation for its Fruition ServiceNow practice in Australia and New Zealand.
Nelson brings 30 years of experience to the role having played an important part in leading the Asia Pacific and Japan ServiceNow Practice in KPMG’s CIO advisory services and technology enablement practice.
Her experience covers consulting, leadership, organisational transformations, service management and solution implementation.
Nelson was an Accenture executive from 2011 until 2014 as a ServiceNow and process design expert. She spent four years at KPMG and was most recently an executive director, according to DXC.

DXC expanded its ServiceNow practice globally through the acquisition of Fruition Partners in 2015. Currently, DXC has more than 700 staff dedicated to the ServiceNow practice.
