Reseller NetOptions has found a new home at a riverside corporate park in Brisbane and will share the building with broad-based distributor, Ingram Micro. NetOptions has consolidated most of its Queensland operations into the bulk of the facility while Ingram Micro will use it as a regional distribution office. The reseller moved into the park several weeks ago, attracted by an area conveniently located near several other large electronics and IT firms. NetOptions has taken out the lion’s share of the building, leasing out about 2000sqm of space. This will accommodate its central administration office, engineering centre and showroom. Ingram Micro has only just moved into the facility, and will officially open in May. The distributor recently opened new premises in Sydney and plans to do the same in Melbourne and Perth within a matter of weeks. Ingram Micro managing director, Steve Rust, said the company was moving from serviced offices into its own facility with its own warehouse space. Previously goods were shipped to Queensland from the distributor’s Sydney warehouse.
