MobileIron country manager for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) Henry La Motta has left the vendor to join Menlo Security, also in the capacity of country manager.
La Motta led MobileIron's trans-Tasman business for two years having started with the company in August 2016.
Before that, La Motta had been a regional sales manager for cloud security vendor Zscaler for three years. He was also the global client manager at Dimension Data from March 2011 until August 2013.
US-headquartered Menlo Security was established in 2013 - its patented Isolation Platform was designed to protect organisations from cyber attacks by isolating and executing all web content in the cloud, enabling users to safely interact with websites, links and documents online without compromising security.
Menlo Security currently has offices in the US, Japan and the UK and has Check Point Software, Webroot, Ping Identity, Centrify, OneLogin and Okta as technology partners.
In May, MobileIron appointed former ShoreTel regional vice president for Asia Pacific Frédéric Gillant as its VP sales for APAC based in Singapore.
"Frédéric is an experienced Asia Pacific sales leader, with a depth of experience and strong relationships in the region," MobileIron senior vice president worldwide sales Greg Randolph said at the time.
"He has a strong track record building and leading high performing sales and pre-sales teams in Asia. I'm excited about the contribution he will make as we accelerate our growth in Asia Pacific and Japan."
ARN has contacted MobileIron and Menlo Security for comment.
