Dicker Data has announced a new distribution deal for the full range of Kyocera A3 and A4 Ecosys printers and consumables across Australia.
"I’m pleased to be announcing our new partnership with Kyocera," Dicker Data chairman and CEO David Dicker said. "We’ve been successfully servicing the print market in Australia for many years and the addition of Kyocera will result in more choice for our partners.
"Furthermore, Kyocera’s leading partner program will enable our committed print partners to enjoy above average profitability across the range that we’re now distributing."
The agreement is effective of 5 July with the distributor revealing it has stock on hand to fulfil customer orders effective immediately.
"I am extremely excited to expand our distribution footprint by partnering with Dicker Data, both parties have experienced impressive growth in recent years and I believe our strong product portfolio coupled with our reseller programs will complement Dicker Data’s already successful business model," Kyocera Document Solutions managing director David Finn said.
The appointment comes weeks after the distributor announced an agreement to distribute Commvault's full range of solutions.
The deal was aimed at increasing the sales pipeline within the mid-market and enterprise market segments with the data backup and recovery vendor.
The publicly-listed distributor was also recently appointed as the distributor for the Citrix reseller business locally, following the vendor’s decision to overhaul its channel strategy in Australia, which resulted in parting ways with Tech Data.
