Synnex has boosted cloud services capabilities by bringing Danish-headquartered print services provider, Printix, to the Australian and New Zealand (A/NZ) market place.
The move sees the distributor expand its cloud services portfolio to provide secure cloud printing management services.
Printix is a cloud-based infrastructure platform used to manage and maintain print environments, allowing system administrators and managed service partners to automatically build, deploy and manage cloud-based print infrastructure.
Synnex A/NZ, CEO, Kee Ong, said the distributor had been in discussions with Printix for the past year, and as a result, will be launching a serverless and secure cloud print solution with the provider.
"We believe it will add immense value to our MSP [managed service provider] resellers, particularly those that service clients with multiple offices," Ong said. "Synnex is continuing to invest in distributing solutions designed for MSP’s and Printix is an innovative addition to the portfolio."
Meanwhile, Printix CEO, Jesper Christiansen, said the new business relationship will bring "significant value and increased momentum" to the provider's current Australian activities.
"In partnering with Synnex, Australia’s IT managed services community, cloud providers and printer dealers can now confidently introduce to all their customers, a cost-effective printing service, using cloud technology designed for the modern workforce,” he added.
According to Christiansen, Synnex has the necessary capability, size and expertise to educate, deliver and support applications such as Printix, with the platform integrating with Microsoft Azure AD and Google G Suite, complementing Synnex’s cloud focus.
Recently, Synnex unveiled a host of new finance solutions designed to simplify the sales process for the channel, allowing partners to offer hardware, cloud, licensing and professional services under one monthly bill.
Under the banner of Managed Services Finance, the offering has been integrated into the Synnex E-commerce Partner Portal, creating an automated finance approval process using application programming interface (API) technologies.
Through an existing Synnex login, local partners can create finance quotations, apply for pre-approval and manage finance settlement statuses.
