IoT integration platform vendor Reekoh has appointed DNA Connect as its first distributor in Australia.
DNA Connect was looking for an internet of things (IoT) platform that was able to bridge the gap between IoT sensor and platforms.
"The Reekoh platform provides integration between IoT components via plugins, this means no coding just configuration,” DNA Connect director Munsoor Khan said.
“With Reekoh and our IoT solutions stack our partners can now provide a suite of sensor to dashboard solutions to their customers that are open and don’t require specialist programming skills.
"Once Reekoh is in place with the customer, there is also capability for the next stage of IoT projects to develop quickly beyond dashboards into business intelligence and integration," Khan said.
For Dale Rankine, CEO and co-founder at Reekoh, partnering with DNA Connect was a "natural step".
"DNA’s engineering team worked with us to help test our Splunk plugins in a couple of real world environments and we have been working very closely with DNA and their partners on some new Smart City projects," Rankine said. "We are growing quickly and partnering with DNA will help to accelerate this growth."
In September 2017, Reekoh licensed its platform to 200,000 residents Ipswich City Council as part of the council's smart city program.
In January, the company started its Asian expansion after partnering with Malaysian-based IoT systems integrator, called IoT Integrator (IoTi).
IoTi is focused on being a ‘one-stop shop’ for customers and using Reekoh’s IoT data and API management tools and integration platform, it will help adapt offerings from some of its vendor partners including Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Bosch, Nokia and Sigfox.
