Ajilon Australia has rebranded to Modis in a move aimed at supporting the company's ambition to establish itself as a leading player in the global technology professional staffing and solutions space.
Modis is part of the Adecco Group, a human resources solutions provider. The company, which announced the impending name change late last year, has offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Regardless of the new brand, the company will continue offering the same services as before, including professional staffing and consulting, project services, managed services, customised solutions and full IT outsourcing projects.
Rod Crozier will oversee the Modis Staffing business and Omar Alim will head Modis Consulting. Crozier and Alim, with their teams, report directly to Melbourne-based Rafael Moyano, Modis Australia CEO, and the wider Adecco Group in Australia.
"These are exciting times for the Modis brand globally as we see selected Adecco Group brands transition to use the new Modis brand – while at the same time continuing to deliver the expertise and capabilities that these existing businesses worldwide have become known and valued for – in this case, the Ajilon brand in Australia” said Moyano.
“We will continue to bring vast experience, flexibility and agility to our global customers to support them as they themselves transition for further growth."
In Australia, Modis joins other Adecco Group brands operating nationally – including Adecco, Spring Professional, Lee Hecht Harrison and Pontoon Solutions.
The Modis teams across Australia will introduce the new brand to clients and business partners at launch events in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
Globally, Modis will serve almost 20 territories across four continents, combining the existing Modis businesses in IT, engineering and life sciences solutions in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia - with the 11 other IT, engineering and life sciences brands from within the Adecco Group.
In February 2018, Ajilon announced the expansion of its partnership with SAS in Western Australia (WA). The new agreement saw Ajilon as SAS’ preferred partner to service the commercial SAS customers in WA on a user lifecycle basis, and providing skilled resources to government customers.
