Brennan IT refreshes Endeavour Foundation WAN deal

Under the deal, Brennan will supply more than 250 WAN links including co-located internet and cross-connects

IT managed services provider, Brennan IT, has signed on for another a three-year deal to provide WAN and co-location services for not-for-profit charity organisation, Endeavour Foundation.

The deal is an extension of an existing relationship between the two companies, which initially kicked off in 2009. Endeavour needed to make changes to its business in order to implement the requirements of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Endeavour head of technology, Sharon Herridge, said it needed to choose a strategic partner that could offer flexible commercial terms to enable ongoing alignment with business requirements.

Under the new contract, Brennan will supply more than 250 WAN links including co-located internet and cross-connects, managed hardware including 3G routers, Wi-Fi access points and co-located rack space.

“This contract was signed after extensive due diligence during which Brennan IT proved its commitment to Endeavour Foundation and demonstrated its capability to deliver according to the customer’s needs. We’re looking forward to finalising and delivering the WAN migration project,” Brennan IT CEO, Stephen Sims, said.

During the extensive collaborative process, Brennan IT undertook multiple iterations of technical and commercial workshops and also expanded the project to include the migration of multiple multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) networks into a single, Brennan IT MPLS network. 

The managed service provider also guaranteed system availability with confirmed service level agreements and a comprehensive support model.

Last year, Brennan IT marked its 20-year milestone indicating that its business goals were driven by its efforts to put its customers front and centre, according to Sims at the time.

“The experience our clients have when dealing with Brennan IT is our number one focus,” Sims said. “This is what we are passionate about, as a managed services provider, we distinguish ourselves by our high level of service.”

In February, the provider launched a lifecycle asset management (LAM) service involving finance for hardware and software asset refresh, maintenance, recovery and wiping data.
