Ingram Micro has doubled its Cloud Marketplace user numbers in less than a year, surpassing two million active seats.
The distributor said the milestone is a noteworthy achievement, especially since the Cloud Marketplace was launched just three years ago.
“Passing two million active seats not only demonstrates the breadth and scale of the Cloud Marketplace, it also shows the confidence our partners have in our platform and ecosystem,” Ingram Micro global cloud channel senior vice president, Renee Bergeron, said in a post on the distributor’s website.
Cloud Marketplace services about 45,000 resellers from more than 40 countries, including Australia and New Zealand.
Bergeron said the distributor also doubled its marketplace portfolio this year, boasting more than 250 cloud solutions. Some of these recent additions include Intuit, Cisco Umbrella and Microsoft 365 Business.
“Over the years, we’ve made significant investments to develop and grow our own automated cloud platforms, including the Cloud Marketplace," she added.
"In fact, our platforms power major service providers from across the globe such as Sprint, CenturyLink, Insight, Vodafone and Telstra."
Bergeron said Ingram Micro Cloud also has more than 25 million total active seats under management across all of its global cloud platforms.
“This is a significant achievement as it is 150 per cent more than the total we reported last year,” she said.
“Our vision at Ingram Micro Cloud is to enable service providers to deliver genuine digital transformation to their customers by focusing on three key pillars: our infinite partner ecosystem, hybrid and scalable technology, and go-to-market services.
“No matter where a customer is in their digital transformation journey, Ingram Micro has the relationships, the innovative technology and the experience in services to enable any business to participate in and monetise the cloud economy.”
