Value-added distributor, inTechnology has landed a new agreement with Wi-Fi enabled location services provider, AiRista Flow.
The deal will see inTechnology take AiRista Flow’s real time location systems (RTLS) technology across the Asia Pacific channel.
AiRista develops and manufactures identification, track and trace solutions using passive, active and semi-active RFID, RTLS, GPS and other technologies.
In addition, the vendor's technologies are also accompanied with user-friendly software interfaces, which enhance visibility into the location, condition, status of assets, people, and workflows, with core markets including healthcare, manufacturing, education and hospitality.
inTechnology CEO, Mark Winter, said it evaluated a number of vendors in the RTLS and Internet of Things (IoT) space.
“With our growing partner base across the Asia Pacific region and the growing requirement for RTLS and IoT, we see this relationship assisting our partners in developing and expanding their business adding both product and recurring services revenue to their bottom line,” Winter said.
In a statement, AiRista Flow senior vice president, Bob Kennedy, said its indirect channel was experiencing rapid growth, leading to the expansion of its distribution network.
“We were looking for a strong distribution partner to support our growing channel with our product and the knowledge, and understanding of how our technology helps their clients,” Kennedy said.
AiRista founder and CEO, Sy Sajjad, added that inTechnology’s broad-based product line, pre-and-post engineering services, customer service, and warehouse operations, made them an ideal fit for RTLS and IoT design engineers, as a one-stop shop for all the components and associated tools.
With the exception of Airista Flow existing global partnerships, all existing channel partners will be transitioned to inTechnology in the coming months, and will focus on providing Airista Flow Certified RTLS Engineer (ACRE) certification across the Asia Pacific region.
inTechnology Distribution partners include wireless software developers, system integrators and resellers focusing on a diverse portfolio of healthcare, manufacturing, industrial, education, retail, hospitality and government clients.
