Sony has come up with the cutest computer mice I’ve seen in a while but quite how comfortable or ergonomic they are is something you will have to decide. They have optical sensors and are wireless, using a digital RF system to keep in touch with a base station that also becomes a stand for the mouse when not in use. They take a couple of small batteries that should provide enough power for a month and a half of use assuming eight hours of PC use per day. Connection from the base station to the PC is by either USB or PS2 connector, with Windows or Mac OS supported.
They will be available in Japan from late September.
