Sydney-based distributor, DNA Connect, has signed with German software vendor, vast limits, to offer its uberAgent application in Australia.
uberAgent is a Splunk agent for Windows end user computing that collects data and tells users why PCs and applications are running slow or crashing.
Built on Splunk’s platform, the application tracks stability and user interface responsiveness. It measures the duration of machine bootups and user logons, showing where delays are coming from.
"uberAgent provides the visibility IT departments need to increase both productivity and end user satisfaction," vast limits managing director, Helge Klein, said.
According to DNA Connect, uberAgent is able to scale from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of endpoints, providing full end-to-end visibility.
“We’re always looking to add quality products to the Splunk ecosystem and uberAgent is one of the best we’ve come across,” DNA Connect director, Munsoor Khan, said.
DNA Connect has been a Splunk distributor since 2008. In 2015, after Splunk parted ways with other distributor Distribution Central, DNA became the sole Splunk distributor in Australia.
“So many of our partners are offering SLA’s to their customers with very little room for error. uberAgent can be a key tool in detecting any potential issues before they impact customer experience,” Khan added.
DNA Connect has recently launched a financing solution for its channel partners in cooperation with BHO Finance.
TOTALPAY offers financing options for hardware, software or cloud from $5,000 and includes easy-to-execute agreements for financing of cloud subscription and professional services, and maintenance of the transaction chain through the channel.
