Service intelligence platform provider, eMite is partnering directly with Telstra (ASX:TLS) to be used as an add-on to Genesys contact centre software that is currently sold through the telco.
eMite CEO and founder, Stuart Geros, said Telstra customers will benefit from being able to purchase a complete solution through a single transaction with Telstra.
Operating as a cloud-based, advanced analytics real-time dashboard solution for contact centres, eMite recently inked an integration deal with Genesys’ PureCloud.
The technology provides historical data and live actionable insights in a visual format that can be customised for different users, using aggregated and correlated data from multiple business sources.
The service intelligence platform provider is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adelaide-based Prophecy International (ASX:PRO), which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).
Prophecy recently released its 2017 financial results that revealed a challenging year for the company with revenue down 26 per cent to $9 million and profit after tax down 19 per cent to $1.9 million.
In the report, Prophecy said it had invested significant time and resources into transitioning its eMite business from large perpetual license deals to smaller, high volume subscription license sales, and therefore this had a significant negative impact on eMite sales.
It also noted the acquisition of Interactive Intelligence by Genesys did slow down the generation of revenue from this channel for eMite, but recognised that it has increased the size of the market opportunity in this arena.
