WinMagic has chosen inTechnology Distribution to sell its offering into the local market

Canadian encryption solution vendor, WinMagic, has struck a deal with inTechnology Distribution to sell its offering into the local market.

inTechnology Distribution is an Asia Pacific-based value-added IT distributor of IT solutions, covering technology in various areas of business IT infrastructure. The company also counts Nomadix, Netop and Absolute among its roster of vendors.

The new deal sees inTechnology Distribution take on WinMagic’s entire portfolio of encryption products.

WinMagic, which is headquartered in Ontario, Canada, specialises in encryption and intelligent management security. Its SecureDoc product secures data where it is stored, providing enterprise grade data encryption and key management policies across all operating systems.

“We’re are extremely pleased to offer Winmagic’s full line of encryption solutions for business, and support its channel growth with our targeted marketing programs, technical support and services,” inTechnology Distribution chief, Mark Winter, said.

“The requirement and demand for a sharing of information via secure channels is growing rapidly, along with the need to keep data safe, no matter where it resides.

“Encrypting data is one of the strongest recommendations for safe cloud computing, and with the recent announcement to enforce the new data breach notification laws here in Australia in 2018, we believe there will be a higher demand for comprehensive encryption solutions like WinMagic,” he said.

According to WinMagic, the new strategic partnership further defines the company’s commitment to expanding its business in the Asia Pacific region, and is a vital move to help form a better partner system locally.

“This partnership opens up a wide variety of bundle opportunities with the other vendors we represent so the channel can expect to see some great offerings coming from us over the coming few months and beyond,” inTechnology Distribution chief channel officer, Charlie Creegan, said.
