Citrix is on the hunt for a new channel chief in the local market, following the resignation of the company’s channel sales manager in Australia and New Zealand, Belinda Jurisic.

Jurisic, who has been in the role since 2013, leaves after almost four years heading up the company’s local channel sales team.

Partners are currently being directed to contact their local partner account managers or the company’s channel development manager for A/NZ, Michael Pidcock.

A Citrix spokesperson told ARN that Jurisic will leave the company at end of March to pursue “other opportunities”.

“Citrix would like to thank Belinda for her contributions to the business over the last three years,” the spokesperson said.

“Citrix is actively backfilling the role as it is a critical platform to Citrix Australia and New Zealand's success and growth.

“Citrix remains committed to our partners and the ANZ market and will ensure a smooth transition, working closely with our customers and partners to ensure there is no impact to the business,” the spokesperson said.

Before joining Citrix, Jurisic spent over a decade at Hewlett-Packard, where she held the role of channel sales director for the local market during her final five years with the company, following a number of years as channel marketing manager.

Jurisic, who was awarded the ARN Women in ICT (WIICTA) Achievement Award in 2016, was heading up the channel sales team when Citrix launched its Net New Partner Sourced program in May 2016.

In her capacity as channel sales chief, Jurisic helped to introduce new incentives within the revamped partner program designed for Citrix Solutions Advisors (CSAs), SI and ISV partners to seek mid-market opportunities.

“We already have incentives for partners that influence current business, but we wanted a way to recognise those partners who are actively pursuing new business,” said Jurisic at the time.

Likewise, Jurisic was at the helm during the the local rollout of the Citrix Solution Advisor (CSA) program in early 2015, aimed at helping partners fully leverage the company’s expanding portfolio of solutions.

The new CSA program was deemed at the time to be a central pillar of the new Citrix Partner Growth Plan, designed to help CSAs achieve significant year-over-year revenue growth.

Jurisic was also on board to help oversee the addition of new training regimes and certifications to the company’s partner program locally in July last year, with the vendor launching new courses for partners in four areas: virtualisation, mobility, networking for datacentre and networking for mobility.
