Enterprise IT management software company, ManageEngine, has named Paul Phillips as its new A/NZ regional manager.
Phillips joins the vendor from New Zealand distributor, Soft Solutions, which distributes ManageEngine in that market. He was a business development manager at Soft Solutions, a role he was in for more than six years in Auckland.
In that role, he was responsible for consulting with enterprises in New Zealand and providing support for their IT management needs.
This newly-created A/NZ regional manager position will see Phillips responsible for accelerating the company’s momentum in the region, and working with both partners and customers to successfully deploy ManageEngine solutions throughout A/NZ.
His new role sees him based in ManageEngine's Sydney office.
ManageEngine director, Rajesh Ganesan, said Phillips was hired as A/NZ is an important region for the company and it has aggressive plans for the region this year.
He added that the company plans to address the growing IT management needs locally and is committed to delivering “a high level of customer service” to the A/NZ market.

Phillips joins ManageEngine with more than 20 years of experience in IT operational and management roles. Prior to working at Soft Solutions, he was chief technology officer at printing solutions company, Wickcliffe for a little more than two years.
Some of his other stints include working at Systems Advisory Services and Television New Zealand.
