Emerson Network Power runs incentive promotions for resellers

<p>Incentive adds further value to existing 25-plus per cent margins for Liebert UPS products sold through the channel</p>
<p>SYDNEY, Australia, December 1, 2004 – Emerson Network Power Australia has launched two incentive promotions for channel resellers through its master distributors Ingram Micro and J Mills. The promotions run concurrently until December 17.</p>
<p>Emerson’s ‘Leave it to Liebert’ promotion through Ingram Micro is valid for all states except Western Australia and South Australia, and rewards resellers for sales of Emerson’s Liebert uninterruptible power systems (UPS) with various prizes, rising in value with the value of products sold. J Mills is rewarding resellers in Western Australia and South Australia with a Coles Myer voucher for each Liebert UPS product purchased.</p>
<p>Peter Spiteri, Marketing Manager for Emerson Network Power Australia, said resellers already enjoy more than 25 per cent margins on sales of Liebert UPS products, so the promotions sweeten the deal by rewarding resellers who promote Emerson’s products as value-add accessories to traditional PC and networking equipment.</p>
<p>“We’re showing our resellers the benefit of combining a Liebert UPS with PCs, networks, home electronics and specialist applications like Voice over IP and Power over Ethernet equipment,” said Spiteri. “While the UPS adds value to the hardware by protecting it, our promotion adds value to the reseller by rewarding them with each sale.”</p>
<p>Liebert is a premiere brand of Emerson Network Power, the USD$2.4 billion company whose range of UPS, Precision Cooling and DC products are best known in Australia for their mission-critical applications.</p>
<p>With ‘Leave it to Liebert’, resellers are entitled to one of four rewards depending on which Liebert products they sell: a peach telephone calling card valued at $10, a Logitech Quickcam Express web camera valued at $63, a Digitrex GK3000 DVD player valued at $190, and a GKX-9000 DVD recorder valued at $453.</p>
<p>“Resellers can keep the rewards for personal use or they can include them in their stock items to increase gross profit,” said Spiteri. “Coles Myer vouchers for the J Mills promotion range in value from $30 to $500.”</p>
<p>‘Leave it to Liebert’ is also valid through Emerson’s eastern zone distributors, including Proactive, SEMS, Power Quality, Tecvic, Black Box and Environmental Air.</p>
