BenQ has slashed the price of its projectors by up to 25 per cent.
The vendor is also offering incentives for resellers that carry the entry level range in a bid to get more IT resellers selling its products.
“BenQ’s focus on the IT reseller channel will reap in benefits for resellers,” product manager digital media at BenQ Australia, Jason Su, said. “IT resellers should consider investing in projectors because they attract significantly higher margin than traditional IT product.
"Selling one projector can return the same level of margin that normally requires selling roughly ten computer systems.”
For a limited time, BenQ will offer a bonus 1.3 mega-pixel digital camera valued at $209 with every purchase of the entry level IT models – the DS650 or DX650.
The DS650 SVGA model carries a recommended retail price of $3499, while the DX650 XGA costs $3999.
