Hybrid WAN solution provider, Silver Peak, has hired Graham Schultz as the company’s new sales director for A/NZ.
The new role finds Schultz tasked with amplifying customer adoption and accelerating the growth of the business’ SD-WAN solutions.
Schultz joins the vendor from Tintri Storage, where he was sales director and country manager.
In July, the vendor closed its Australian operations in a move to handle all regional business out of its offices in Singapore.
Schultz also held sales roles at various vendors throughout his 20-year career including Brocade, VMware and Legato.
“This is an exciting time to be joining Silver Peak, as they are the only vendor capable of offering a complete SD-WAN solution that simply and intelligently combines any combination of connectivity types into high-performance virtual WANs that deliver an unmatched user experience edge-to-edge,” he said.
Silver Peak senior vice president worldwide sales, Chris Helfer, said he was pleased to add a "seasoned professional" to head the expanding A/NZ team.
“We are quickly establishing market leadership in the hyper growth emerging market for SD-WAN technologies that IDC predicts will grow to an estimated $US6 billion by 2020, and are confident that our A/NZ team will make an immediate impact on regional sales,” he said.
