Synnex has signed an agreement with Honeywell to distribute the vendor’s range of surveillance solutions in Australia.

Honeywell’s physical security portfolio includes building and asset protection, alarm communications, and building monitoring.

The company targets these products at all market segments and has specialist offerings for the retail, banking, finance, government, military, and utility sectors.

Synnex Australia product director, Yu Chen Liao, said the deal with Honeywell was inked because the vendor was well-known in the market as an expert in security surveillance technology that provides strong solutions to all vertical markets.

“Honeywell is an ideal vendor to help extend our holistic security solutions to new and existing partners in the region,” he added.

“We are pleased to collaborate with a strong distributor like Synnex Australia to reinforce our commitment to supporting the growth of the security sector in A/NZ," Honeywell general manager of security and fire, Stephen Higgins, said.

“The agreement will enable Honeywell to expand its reach and better support customers in the region, particularly in the IT sector, which makes up 30 per cent of the IP surveillance market,” he added.
