Daniel Campbell has resigned from his role as national channel manager of Fujitsu Australia, after taking an opportunity in the UK.
Having run the company’s partner business across the country for four years, Campbell is now tasked with developing the channel of high-growth software-as-a-service company, Brandwatch.
Based in Brighton, UK, Brandwatch is one of the world’s leading social intelligence providers, and is used by over 1,200 brands and agencies, including Cisco, Dell, British Airways, Heineken and Walmart.
“I was presented with an opportunity to work for a high-growth software-as-a-service company to help develop their channel strategy, and grow a network of partners across the globe, which includes Australia,” Campbell told ARN.
Campbell departs Fujitsu after four years, having built the company’s channel strategy in Australia from the ground up.
Following a previous stint in the UK, Campbell returned to Australia in 2010, spending two years at local distributor TData managing vendor accounts.
In taking the vacant channel development manager role at Fujitsu - originally a part-time role - Campbell recorded 700 percent growth in channel sales since 2012, implementing new programs and processes as the business deepened its relationship with channel partners.
