Citrix has appointed Stanimira Koleva as its group vice-president (GVP) of sales and services for the Asia-Pacific and Japan region.
Koleva replaces Rob Willis, who left after more than a decade with the vendor to explore other opportunities, Citrix said.
She will be reporting to worldwide sales and services vice-president, Carlos Sartorius.
Koleva will be responsible for evolving the Citrix sales and services strategy to continue to drive the company’s vision of securely and reliably delivering applications and data and supporting customers.
Koleva maintains about 25 years of industry experience and was recently the senior vice president and chief operations officer, for Asia-Pacific and Japan at Software AG.
She has also worked at Microsoft and Cisco.
“Her deep knowledge of the Asia-Pacific and Japan region and familiarity with key partners such as Cisco and Microsoft and their eco-systems, combined with her strong leadership skills and results-oriented perspective will help drive our Asia-Pacific and Japan business forward,” Sartorius said.
