Immediate start for Highpoint Australia, Wyse Technology's new ASC

<p>Highpoint Australia, to be the new Authorised Service Centre (ASC) for Wyse Technology from 1 November, announced today that it would service Wyse WintermTM devices immediately in response to incumbent ASC Interactive’s “phase-out” this month.</p>
<p>Highpoint Australia’s appointment comes following month-long negotiations with Wyse Technology’s US executives who sought more extensive warranty terms and faster service response times for Australian customers.</p>
<p>“Geographic coverage around Australia is a key to this new partnership,” said Mr Martin Haig, Business Development Manager for Highpoint Australia.</p>
<p>“Product service and warranty management are ingrained in a company’s reputation. Because we share Wyse Technology’s service priority, we also understand the value of being available immediately,” he said.</p>
<p>Rick Ferguson, Oceania Regional Director for Wyse Technology, agreed that the appointment was good news for customers.</p>
<p>“Highpoint will deliver greater service support to our channel partners and our existing customers can be assured of quick, local attention no matter how infrequently as they might need warranty service support,” Mr Ferguson said.</p>
<p>Under the ASC terms, Highpoint officially commences trading for Wyse Technology on 1 November after the current ASC agreement with Interactive ceases on 31 October.</p>
