Cybersecurity company, Fortinet, recently awarded three Australian partners with awards at the Asia-Pacific Fortinet Partner Business Retreat in Chengdu, China.
Fujitsu Australia, Communications Design and Management, and The Missing Link were all named Partner of the Year in three different categories.
Fujitsu Australia won the Partner of the Year Platinum Category, while The Missing Link and Communications Design and Management won the Rookie Partner of the Year award and Partner of the Year Authorised-Gold award respectively.
Fortinet A/NZ and South Pacific Islands senior director, Jon McGettigan, said the three partners have excelled at generating significant growth, demonstrating expertise across the entire Fortinet solution set and extending Fortinet’s market share and reach across a wide range of vertical markets including government and defence, enterprises, managed service providers, education and retail.
“We applaud the outstanding performances that each of the recipients has shown over the last year.
“Fortinet’s Australian partners have all contributed to significant growth and it was difficult to select the best amongst so many outstanding partners," he said.
"However, these three partners have all shown dedication and investment above and beyond what we expect."
McGettigan mentioned Fujitsu Australia has continued to demonstrate substantial year-on- year revenue growth across the breadth of the Fortinet portfolio ranging from remote access, next generation firewalls and wireless solutions.
“The relationships that we hold with key partners allow us to provide innovative and enterprise-ready products to our clients,” Fujitsu Oceania vice-president of platforms, Alistair Latham, added.
Communications Design and Management nabbed the Partner of the Year Authorised-Gold award for its significant revenue growth with Fortinet, its success driven by larger deal sizes, joint marketing initiatives and closer engagement with Fortinet.
“With Fortinet, we can build lasting customer relationships in a very competitive market in Canberra,” Communications Design and Management Canberra general manager, David Welch, added.
The Missing Link took home the Rookie Partner of the Year award for its significant customer wins, especially within the security space.
“Our adoption of Fortinet’s security solutions was a highly significant initiative on our part," The Missing Link Security director, Aaron Bailey, said.
"Our decision to standardise with Fortinet as our security vendor of choice has been amply rewarded with increased sales and, now, international recognition."
