Thomas Duryea Consulting, has reported substantial growth in its business to 30 June 2016, and is now setting its sights on the enterprise market.
The company was acquired by Logicalis late last year following a promising start to the 2015/16 financial year, and specialises in networking, collaboration and datacentre projects as well as managed services.
Thomas Duryea national general manager, Michael Chanter, highlighted the company’s managed services business as the “the outstanding performer” during the past 12 months.
"Extraordinary growth of 100 per cent in the last quarter alone has capped off a very good year for the practice which has seen 70 per cent annualised growth," he said
"June has been our largest single record sales month ever, which is significant in terms of the Logicalis acquisition and the confidence customers have in the added value of the combined companies now being delivered."
Over the last two years, Thomas Duryea has sunk money into building strategic services, such as the Consulting and Advisory practice and broadening offerings around managed services and Cloud capabilities.
Chanter said this investment means it is ready to take on the large systems integrators and compete for enterprise customers against large systems integrators thereby broadening the scope of services that appeal to this market.
In addition, the company has made two strategic appointments to support continued expansion and growth.
As a result, Rob Mattlin has been appointed national practice lead for the systems management practice.
Chanter said his role is to build on the foundation of success, driving end-user transformation with Windows 10 and EMS suite from Microsoft.
In addition, David Gulli has been appointed chief technical officer to lead the business in enterprise system integration across cloud, datacentre and end user compute, developing market offerings relevant to customers’ needs.
“As the business grows, we are bringing on more employees in sales, presales and consulting, boosting our customer facing headcount by more than 50 per cent over the coming months,” Chanter said.
“We’re in a strong position for continued growth and expansion, and are continually looking for the best people to join the company to support our business strategy.
“In addition, we are working hand in glove with Logicalis across a number of strategic accounts.
"In some cases we are delivering expertise into traditional Logicalis accounts, while they form part of offerings to our customers. In both cases, we are able to deliver a better customer outcome and a stronger business result.”
