Ben Goodman has departed from Pure Storage, vacating the Asia-Pacific and Japan director of channels role position that he held for more than a year.
A spokesperson from Pure Storage confirmed with ARN that Goodman is no longer with the company.
Pure Storage Asia-Pacific and Japan vice-president, Michael Alp, said regardless of Goodman’s departure, business will be as usual, with the company focusing on growth and its channel.
“Ben Goodman has left his role as head of channels and alliances for Asia-Pacific and Japan with Pure Storage. Our strong channel and alliances team will continue to deliver outstanding service and support to our partners across the region,” he said.
Goodman was based in the company’s Singapore office.
Prior to working at Pure Storage, he served in a number of roles at EMC. Most recently, he was the company’s Asia-Pacific sales strategy and transformation director for almost two years. He was also based in Singapore for this role.
Between January 2011 and July 2013, he served as the company’s New South Wales and Victoria media, broadcast and strategic accounts district manager. He also held a number of other roles in his 17-year tenure with EMC.
