The managing director of Apple Australia, Ben Bowley, will leave the vendor at the end of March.
Apple said Bowley tendered his resignation in order to pursue his own tourism business.
“Apple is grateful for Ben’s many contributions to Apple, and we wish him much success in his new endeavour,” the company said.
Among Bowley’s achievements during his decade-long career at Apple Australia was his pursuit of the ‘AppleCentre’ retail strategy.
An Apple spokesperson said it was currently searching for a replacement. The March 31 deadline gave the company “a good length of time” to find a suitable candidate.
