Perth-headquartered service provider Ajilon has been appointed to two of Western Australia’s Department of Education panels, deepening the company’s Government ties across the state.
The two-year contract, with three one-year extension options, commences July 1, with one for the provision of web development and support services, and the second for application development and support services.
The Panel will provide the Department with the capacity to support a range of business and e-learning systems as well as the Department’s Internet and Intranet sites.
Over 50 systems will be supported under the Panel arrangement including Reporting to Parents, Connect, WA Interm and Vacation Swimming Enrolment Management, Student Achievement Information, Student Attendance Reporting and School Security Management.
As one of the largest Western Australian Government web sites with more than of 100 sub-sites and 6000 pages, the Department’s internet site provides information and e-business services to the education community.
“We are excited to be added to the Department of Education’s panels and to work alongside them and other partners to support the Department’s engagement with their stakeholders,” Ajilon General Manager, National Sales & Solutions, Charandeep Chhabra, said.
Ajilon extends the the company’s work with West Australian government bodies and agencies including Landgate, WA Police, Department of the Attorney General and Department of Corrective Services.
“Ajilon was chosen as a member of their Panel due to Ajilon’s sound organisational capacity and extensive experience in delivering ICT services across a broad range of clients, both government and non-government,” Department of Education Director E-Learning and Business Systems, Stephen Rakich, added.
“Ajilon also demonstrated the availability of a large number of local resources with skillsets well aligned to the Departments’ requirements.”
