Distribution Central is now delivering Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) offerings to the Australian channel, three months on from the vendor's local distribution review.
As reported exclusively by ARN in February, the new-look HPE selected Distribution Central alongside Dicker Data, Ingram Micro, Lynx Technologies and Sektor as its distribution partners for 2016, following an extensive review of its Australian processes.
Consequently, Avnet and Synnex missed out on distributing the core HPE portfolio, with the new distribution changes taking place on May 1, 2016.
“After a decade of successful investment in the Aruba Networks channel, we’re excited about taking the Hewlett Packard Enterprise portfolio to market and delivering our value-add model to the Hewlett Packard Enterprise channel,” Distribution Central CEO, Nick Verykios, said.
"We have invested in our infrastructure to prepare for this expansion so we can deliver technical expertise, and sales, marketing and operational support to help drive success in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise channel.”
According to Verykios, the Hewlett Packard Enterprise portfolio is “extensive”, with opportunities to deliver market growth with some of the tech giant’s lesser known solutions.
“For example, we are building a series of HPE DC PODs that will combine best-of-breed technologies from Hewlett Packard Enterprise and other complementary vendors to deliver solutions for contemporary business problems,” he explained.
Distribution Central has been an Aruba Networks distributor for 10 years, which was acquired by HPE in May 2015.
Going forward, Verykios says Distribution Central will take HPE to market with a full suite of reseller support services, including pre-sales technical support, post-sales field support, configuration, renewal and asset management, training and education programs and channel marketing programs.
