Artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning company, Brighterion Inc, has partnered with Unisys to fight financial fraud.
As part of the partnership, Unisys will become Brighterion’s solution integrator within APAC and will focus on anti-fraud solutions for financial services providers by offering end-to-end integration, deployment and support services with Unisys IP and financial industry knowledge.
Brighterion founder and chief executive, Akli Adjaoute, said the partnership allows the company to expand into APAC’s financial services sector and Unisys’ knowledge of local banking requirements and regulations fits with Brighterion’s technology pursuits.
Unisys vice president and general manager of enterprise solutions APAC, Tony Windever, said, “Unisys is delighted to work with Brighterion to deliver their artificial intelligence technology to customers in Asia-Pacific. We will contribute the people, processes, Unisys technology, industry expertise and expert project management required to design and deliver advanced financial crime detection and other industry specific solutions.”
Brighterion said in the past, its technologies spanning patented smart agents, data mining, neural networks, case-based reasoning, text mining and unsupervised learning, have been successfully applied in cyber and homeland security, real-time cross-channel fraud prevention, credit risk and chargeback prevention, anti-money laundering and data breach detection.
