LanDesk has hired Jerry Tng as its new Asia Pacific vice president of sales and marketing.
He will be based in Singapore, and his role will encompass driving the company’s growth in the region, working with its technology partners and the channel to further develop its business.
Tng maintains more than 15 years experience in the IT industry, previously working for companies such as TaKaDu, Infor Global Solutions and GlobalPTM.
“Appointing Jerry to this regional role further reinforces our focus on Asia Pacific organisational growth and technology innovation to enhance our position as a leading IT management company and take us through our next phase of growth,” LanDesk executive vice president of global sales, Mitch Rowe, said. “Jerry’s business experience and expertise in market dynamics, having worked in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Sydney, will be invaluable in developing effective sales and marketing strategies across the region.”
LanDesk has offices in Sydney, Singapore, Tokyo and Beijing and its customers across many industries such as retail, education, public sector and financial services, selling through channel partners and hardware vendors.
