Cloud and managed service company, Tecala, has appointed Mark Hood as general manager of sales and marketing.
Hood is tasked with driving momentum for the company’s Cloud and infrastructure services business for both private and public sector organisations.
He will also be responsible for managing Tecala’s brand awareness, supporting vendor partner and alliance marketing.
Hood joins Tecala with more than 20 years of experience within the IT industry specialising in business development strategy for organisations including AAPT, Austar, Chello Broadband, Chubb Security and Mobiletronics.
Prior to the appointment, most recently Hood was Revenue Growth Group director. Before this, he was Mobiletronics chief executive.
Hood said, "Having consulted on business development for seven years, I was keen to find a company where I could use the business development systems developed to achieve sustainable growth. What Tecala had that I had not found elsewhere, was there were no flaws in their customer offering."
