Acronis A/NZ general manager, Lincoln Goldsmith, has left on-premises and Cloud software company, Acronis.
Acronis told ARN it is currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position in A/NZ, and in the interim term, the A/NZ operations will be managed by Acronis vice-president and general manager of sales for Asia-Pacific and emerging markets, Steve Goh.
“Acronis is looking for a leader. Someone who is able to remain team focused, has strong experience in working with channels, a comprehensive understanding of how to build and facilitate partnerships, and a vision to achieve ambitious growth targets through team work, professional development of Acronis staff and strong relationships with Acronis customers, partners, and channel distributors.
“We are also looking for someone who can work effectively with the media to present Acronis’ vision to a wider professional and consumer community,” Goh said.
Goh added that Acronis is proud to have exceptional staff in Australia and a highly functional team led by A/NZ channel business manager, Rose Old, who has been instrumental in developing the company’s channel ecosystem and driving revenue through Acronis’ innovative partner program.
“Together with Goh’s support, Old will continue to have access to other members of Acronis management team based in Singapore and other countries,” Acronis said, in a statement.
Goldsmith was A/NZ general manager of the company for more than a year. Before that, he served as its A/NZ and Japan mobility sales director for almost a year.
“Goldsmith is a highly skilled professional who joined Acronis as a sales director for mobility products in the beginning of 2014 and progressed to the general manager position later that year.
“Under his leadership, Acronis A/NZ team created a strong distribution foundation to ensure the right foundation for long-term sustainable market exponential growth, secured a number of key contracts in and achieved growth targets of 125 per cent. We thank Lincoln for his contributions to Acronis and wish him all the best in his next endeavor,” Goh added.
Prior to Acronis, Goldsmith was the A/NZ and Asia-Pacific and Japan channel sales director of Virident Systems for about a year. He also served at CommVault in a number of roles during his three year stint with the company – as its Asia-Pacific director of channels, acting Japan country manager, and A/NZ channel manager.
Some of the other companies he worked for include NetstarLogicalis, NetApp, XSI Data Solutions,a nd Surf Hardware International.
