Westcon-Comstor has announced an agreement with X-IO Technologies to distribute its storage offerings across the Australia and New Zealand markets.
Terms of the deal will see the recently rebranded distributor support X-IO’s global expansion into the growing marketplace by providing its customers with high-performance storage solutions.
Effective immediately, resellers across Australia and New Zealand will now have the ability to drive accelerated revenue via access to X-IO’s full product range underpinned by its Intelligent Storage Element (ISE) and iglu architectures.
For Dave Rosenberg, VP of A/NZ, Westcon-Comstor, the announcement ensures resellers can meet increased customer demand for high-performance storage solutions supporting datacentre and Cloud initiatives.

With a foundation based on adaptability, simplicity and balance, X-IO’s products are underpinned by its ISE technology which optimises price and operational efficiency.
As explained by Rosenberg, these solutions focus on both consistent and accelerated performance via hard disk drives (HDD), real-time hybrid or all-flash with enterprise SSDs and HDDs.
X-IO’s unique “Low Touch” approach and five-year warranty as standard is designed to “significantly reduce storage costs” - meaning strong customer environmental credentials via low power and cooling requirements as opposed to other high performance storage products.
