VExpress builds portfolio with Mocet

New agreement will provide real-time account management and support as Mocet expands in the region


VExpress has become a new distributor for business communications and software vendor, Mocet.

The deal will help Mocet meet growing demand for SOHO office mobility solutions across Australia and is expected to bring on board between 20 and 30 new resellers to service its expansion into the region.

VExpress will handle Mocet’s flagship service, the IG 7600 Smartphone Business Communications System, which features its M54 mobile softphone application.

In a statement, Mocet international marketing and sales director, Anna Shatun, said it had some legacy business in Australia, but the new agreement with VExpress provides real-time account management, support and 'feet on the ground' to help grow this legacy base and bring on new partners.

“We're also seeing more IT resellers looking to augment their services with an all-encompassing voice, data and mobility solution that requires no additional technical training, can be deployed quickly and establishes a total office communications solution,” she said.

An extensive partner portal resource and product demonstrations, are underway and VExpress will be exhibiting Mocet at a number conferences and exhibitions.

“Mocet will be a huge addition to our product portfolio, which includes other mobility solutions like NetConnect and Alcatel-Lucent,” VExpress general manager of mobility solutions, Xavier Simon, said. “Our IT resellers will also see the benefit of adding a voice solution to their portfolio’s, with no additional investment in technical or sales training.”
