Impact Systems adds Mionix to the gaming mix

Mionix’s range includes gaming mice, keyboards, audio products and surfaces.

Sydney-based distributor, Impact Systems, has entered into a partnership with Swedish-based gaming peripherals vendor, Mionix.

The deal broadens Impact’s gaming hardware portfolio to now include Mionix’s gaming mice, keyboards, audio products and surfaces.

Mionix head of sales, Carsten Berger, said it was expanding its global distribution network to help stay on top of demands for its products in the region.

“As Impact Systems is an established value added distributor, their deep market knowledge and long-time experience makes them the perfect choice for us,” Berger said. “Above all, they have shown strong passion, high respect and a lot of confidence in Mionix. With Impact Systems now part of the Mionix team, we are ready in taking on our ambitious growth plans in Australia and New Zealand.”

Impact Systems managing director, Peter Agamalis, said it already has one major vendor on board and it made sense to have a secondary partner to capitalise on their individual strengths.

“We were easily convinced Mionix would be the right fit for Impact in the A/NZ gaming space, because the product build and their value-add gives us leverage to win business,” Agamalis said. “Their products outweigh the competition in price, specs and quality.”
