Global specialist in energy management and automation, Schneider Electric, was honoured with a hat-trick of awards at the 2015 Frost & Sullivan APAC Best Practice Awards.
The wins kept coming when for the fourth consecutive year, the company was awarded the 2015 Southeast Asia ‘UPS Vendor of the Year’ and ‘UPS Service Provider of the Year,’ followed by the ‘Asia Pacific DataCentre Integrated Power Infrastructure Company of the Year’ award for 2015 for the second year in a row.
Schneider Electric said the accolades attribute the company’s performance in APAC for understanding customer needs and providing customer-oriented support and innovative product and service offerings.
“As the Internet of Things (IoT) continues to grow at an exponential rate, so does the sheer velocity of digital data,” said Schneider Electric vice president APAC IT business, Pankaj Sharma.
“In order to manage the substantial volume of data and manage costs, there is intense pressure to deliver efficiency without sacrificing reliability and availability throughout their entire lifecycle of a DataCentre.”
Frost & Sullivan senior research analyst for energy and environment practice for APAC, Adwaith Visveswaran, believes that the company has weathered the slump in the UPS market last year.
"The company’s position remained strong as it continued to deliver superior products of high calibre and performance through a well-defined marketing strategy and customer engagement program," he said.
“Schneider Electric has successfully carved a niche for itself in the data Centre integrated power infrastructure market. The company is the prime choice for enterprise and colocation customers not only in the Asia Pacific region but also globally.”
The Frost & Sullivan Excellence Awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas including leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development.
