Global technology company, Nuix, recently won the 2015 Premier’s NSW Exporter of the Year awards at a ceremony hosted by the Export Council of Australia and the NSW Government.
The Australian Export Awards recognises high-performing Australian businesses that drive international trade.
Nuix provides intelligence, analytics and cybersecurity software solutions to law enforcement and security agencies, financial institutions, corporations and government departments. Its solutions are powered by the patented Nuix Engine, which the company engineered in Australia to break through all forms of complex data.
Nuix CEO, Eddie Sheehy, said the company’s technology advantage has enabled it to grow organically from a select group of government customers in Australia to the global marketplace.
“We’re thrilled to have been recognised among our peers as a company that drives international trade and spreads Australian innovation across the world.
“We have sustained our success through ongoing innovation, outstanding customer service and working really hard to understand our customers’ pain points. But it all boils down to the fact that our products solve the most complex data problems,” he mentioned.
According to Sheehy, since its founding in 2000 and commercialisation in 2006, the company has grown exponentially, recording 60 per cent growth in 2015 and 57 per cent growth in 2014. It also has more than 1500 customers in over 60 countries, including regulatory agencies, security and law enforcement agencies.
As a national finalist, Nuix will compete against other state and territory winners for the 53rd Australian Export Awards held in Melbourne on November 27.
