Professional services provider,Thomas Duryea Consulting, has experienced a stellar start to its 2016 financial year after experiencing a record quarter.
“It’s the best start to a financial year that we’ve ever had,” Thomas Duryea CEO, Andrew Thomas, said. “We’ve won some really significant deals. We’ve had some of our biggest customer wins in the past three months with both our consulting and Cloud business doing well.”
About 18 months ago, the company launched a consulting and advisory practice focused on delivering IT strategies and roadmaps for customers. It is led by Naveen Shettar, who joined the company in January. Shettar previously worked for Sun Microsystems, Frontline Systems and The Frame Group.
“The practice was put together to provide pragmatic advice and it’s one of our fastest growing practices,” he said. “The goal is to stand shoulder to shoulder with our customers.
“We want to have context of all the decisions that are being made in an IT department and then ensuing the recommendations that we make are perfectly aligned with the business direction.”
Since its launch with Microsoft on Windows 10, the company has secured 50 engagements with customers to help with their proof of concept and collaboration at the desktop.
“We’ve had some really strong success in July and that has put us ahead of our year-on-year numbers between two to three times on top of last year, and it’s just continuous,” he said.
