Australian managed Cloud services provider, UltraServe, has seen its sales boom across the international and domestic market thanks to its hybrid-based platform-as-a-service called SmartStack.
SmartStack is a suite of tools and services to help achieve a successful deployment and long-term management of hybris in the Cloud.
“In the past year, we’ve delivered SmartStack to enterprise customers in Australia, New Zealand and multinationals in the US, Europe, Brazil and India,” UltraServe vice president of sales, Adam Chicktong, said.
It has also managed to double its customer base and recruited 15 more staff at Pyrmont-based head office and Central Coast development centre. It also continued its expansion into Auckland, London, Chicago and Asia.
The company also now counts enterprise, ASX-listed and multinational corporations among its customer base, which was focused on the medium-sized business sector.
“We want to keep core operations in Australia, but our challenge is to attract the smartest people in a competitive market,” Chicktong said.
“For us, culture’s not just about funky bean bags, going out for coffees and drinks on a Friday – although they do help, it’s about everyone having a sense of belonging, about believing and knowing they can make a difference and about having the entire business pulling in the same direction.”
Newest recruit, Jonathan Ross, said UltraServe’s flat management structure brought him closer to the decision makers, which meant he can see them take feedback on board and accommodate new emerging opportunities.
Chicktong said it was eager to maintain employee diversity and as it grows on an international scale, it would welcome applicants with good IT skills that can speak Mandarin or a second language.
“We’re at the start of our growth curve, so if you’re up for the challenge, UltraServe is a great place to work,” he said.
