NetSuite practice of business technology specialist, Viatek, has named Lucas Vear as its new general manager of Cloud applications. Viatek entered the NetSuite space two years ago, with the acquisition of CN Group.
Vear jouns Viatek from Klugo, a field service management and marketing software solutions company that is integrated within NetSuite. He was in this role for a little over two years, in Melbourne.
Vear, who is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, said he took on this role as Viatek is a technology solution provider with an established footprint across Australia. He also said it is a great vehicle to offer NetSuite to its customers.
“Joining Viatek, I see my role as moving the business forward while building the capability of the Viatek team in delivering business-system solutions to customers. NetSuite is one of the world’s leading Cloud ERP system, and is able to deliver businesses an efficiency windfall. It is all about doing more with less.
“As a Chartered Accountant, I understand financial analysis and interpretation, but also have the ability to communicate these to stakeholders. The experience I can bring to Viatek’s customers is first hand in implementing, using and building solutions on the NetSuite platform.
“I am very much looking forward to working with Viatek, and leading its NetSuite practice strongly forward,” he said.
Viatek Technology managing director, Jonathan Salmon, said the company is looking forward to Vear’s direction in leading and growing its NetSuite practice.
“Viatek is one of the leaders in business technology, and we have a strong commitment to, and belief in, both the NetSuite product and the Cloud in general.
“Lucas is well known in the NetSuite circles. His skills and experience in business, as well as in accounting and business technology, suit him perfectly to lead Viatek’s NetSuite practice. We heartily welcome him aboard,” Salmon added.
