Collaborative work management software company, Clarizen, has expanded its global footprint into the Asia-Pacific market with the launch of its new Australian office. The company has also hired Gary Rubinstein to lead the region as A/NZ country manager.

The new office is located in Melbourne and Rubinstein will report directly to the company’s vice-president of strategic alliances and Asia-Pacific and Japan, Guy Shani, based in San Mateo, California.

Rubinstein brings more than 15 years’ of project management, strategic analysis, system and software implementation, and business consulting experience to Clarizen.

Most recently, Rubinstein served as group manager and national practice principal at Revolution IT, a Melbourne-based application lifecycle management consultancy that serves the Asia-Pacific region. He was in this role for a little over five years.

He also held a number of other positions in Revolution IT, progressing up the ranks during his 18 years serving the company. Some of his roles there included working as its senior consultant, principal of project and portfolio management practice, manager of strategy and innovation, and partner manager for Workfront.

He has also previously worked with AGL, Systems Union, and Cosmos 21+ Group.

“Collaboration, productivity and transparency are top-of-mind for Asia-Pacific enterprises,” Rubinstein mentioned.

“They are looking to get work done as efficiently as possible while collaborating with team members on multiple projects in diverse locations, all in real time. I’m thrilled to join the Clarizen team here in Australia and am committed to making true collaborative work management a reality for companies in the region.”

Clarizen CEO, Avinoam Nowogrodski, said the company’s growth across all geographies led to its decision to strengthen its growth in this region. It reported a 96 per cent quarter on quarter increase in monthly recurring revenue across A/NZ, and a 74 per cent year-over-year growth in total bookings.

“Clarizen’s continued growth highlights global demand for better work management, improved visibility and purposeful collaboration. Our new Australian office will serve this tech-savvy region’s need for solutions that help them move faster and adapt to the changes that confront them every day,” he added.
