Network monitoring solutions company, Paessler, has revamped its partner program to offer better financial incentives to the channel.
The reworked program has transitioned from a rebate-based reward system to a deal registration scheme.
Paessler sales director APAC, Andrew Timms, said the move towards a reward system that reflected a deal registration model means increased value for partners.
As part of the new scheme, Paessler partners will be classified into four different levels. Determined by a points-based system and earned through revenue and marketing services, these levels include Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Paessler said the new scheme will allow for a higher level of support from the company and will help partners be more competitive.
“One of our primary goals is fundamentally to forge closer cooperation with the channel and attract new partnerships. This has meant that we needed to introduce a raft of measures to evolve and improve our partner program,” said Timms.
According to Paessler, the enhanced program will also see added partner support from the customer acquisition phase through to the sale of PRTG licenses.
“Due to the early knowledge of potential deals, Paessler can now better accompany and support each partner with their projects regardless of partner levels. For instance, resellers who register a deal can gain protection and a secure margin by immediately clear conditions,” Timms added.
