Cloud Distribution has established a new partnership with US-based education security vendor, GoGuardian.
GoGuardian features a suite of Chromebook management software which provides administrators with access to advanced analytic data, web filtering and anti-theft services.
Since launching in 2014, GoGuardian software now runs on over one million devices across 1600 school districts globally.
GoGuardian CEO and founder, Aza Steel, said it aims to provide device management software that helps educators improve learning outcomes, in multiple languages.
“Our partnership with Cloud Distribution is a significant step towards reaching that goal,” Steel said.
Cloud Distribution sales director, Jason Burn, said the growing trend of one-to-one technology programs in schools created a demand for a product to provide comprehensive oversight.
“Before GoGuardian, many schools had no way of knowing what students were accessing through school bought Chromebooks,” he said. “This severely impeded administrators’ ability to form and implement effective policies for safe internet usage.”
