Polycom has added two entry-level desktop phones to its voice solutions portfolio.
The VVX 101 and VVX 201 are new business media phones designed for multiple unified communications (UC) platforms.
The devices are certified to interoperate with a broad array of SIP call control platforms and integrate with third-party Web-based UC and productivity applications.
The UC provider said the devices are fit for organisations of all sizes. The VVX 101 business media phone is designed for small or home offices and shared workspaces including lobby areas and the VVX 201 business media phone is targeted at enterprise offering features such as two line support.
Polycom said that its Zero Touch Provisioning, a Cloud-based provisioning solution, enables management and deployment of multiple phones in one space.
Polycom senior vice president worldwide product management and systems engineers, Ashan Willy, said the new devices expand the company’s business media phone portfolio and serve as a direct reflection of its commitment to collaboration.
